The 30th Charleston Conference formally opened this morning. Covering it will be an impossible job–360 speakers will be presenting 159 sessions in the next 3 ½ days, spread out in four locations, each about a 10 minute walk from the other. I will therefore be limiting my blog postings to sessions held at the Francis Marion Hotel, the main venue.
Katina Strauch was, as usual, everywhere overseeing the myriad of details involved in running an endeavor of this magnitude.
Her very able staff also deserve a round of applause for all their hard work, much of which went on behind the scenes.
