I arrived in Denver late yesterday afternoon and caught the SuperShuttle to the convention area. Unlike taking a taxi, the SuperShuttle is a group, almost communal, experience. Everybody on my shuttle was in Denver to attend SLA. Although none of us knew each other, introductions quickly put us in a collegial mood and discussions about libraries, jobs, and local Denver information made the trip to our hotels the perfect beginning to the conference. It remains a mystery to me, however, why my hotel is always last on the list of stops. And thanks to the ADM guy who told me he reads my blog!
