Previews: Librarian/Internet Researcher Rainie is Back & First at Bat

When Lee Rainie, Director, Pew Internet and American Life Project, opened IL 2004, he captivated the crowd.

"I’m a librarian," he said. "I live for records and documents."

Reading from the novel The Librarian, by Larry Beinhart, Rainie concluded his remarks last year by praising librarians on ten counts and encouraging them to continue their good fight.

What will Lee have to report this year? The only way to find out is to be there.

The opening keynote starts at 9 a.m. on Monday.

Head on over to the San Carlos ballroom early for continental breakfast . . . and to get a front row seat.
