Countdown to Computers in Libraries 2005!

Welcome to the ITI Show Daily @ Computers in Libraries! The Information Today editorial team has blogged other conferences (twice at Online Information in London and last year at SLA in Nashville), but we’ve never blogged one of our own events. Due to popular demand, and because it sounds like lots of fun to share what’s happening around the conference in this informal and real-time format, you’re now reading the first ITI Show Daily!

The ITI Show Daily will be written by ITI staff and editors, including some behind-the-scenes people like me and Tom Hogan Jr, VP of Marketing and Business Development. You’ll also hear from Marydee Ojala, Editor of ONLINE, Kathy Dempsey, Editor of Computers in Librariesmagazine, Paula Hane, our News Editor — and Dick Kaser, VP of Content is likely to chime in, too.

Our insider’s view means we’ll not only cover what’s happening at the conference, but we can tell you about things in advance and remind you of special events. We might even share a preview of the food that will be at the Welcome Reception on Wednesday night! We’ll bring you some interviews and comments from our speakers as well as coverage of keynotes, sessions, and the buzz around the exhibit hall.

See you soon!
