I visited with Carol Knoblauch, product manager at Open Text – in booths 948-950 — about the introduction of version 10 of Livelink Collections Server. The new version provides an expanded platform for Livelink for Libraries (formerly Techlib), adding broad document collection features to the library automation application.

According to Carol, the biggest change is in expanded scalability of the product–about 4 times larger across the board, including characters in records and full text of documents. The new product also offers expanded search capabilities and better navigation.

By the way, Open Text recently announced that it ranked 11th in Business 2.0 magazine’s list of the 100 fastest growing technology companies, called the 2004 B2 100.
