New Study on Outsourcing

Independent information professionals are always among the crowds at SLA; this year Annie Olesen of A9 Consulting in Denmark has been interviewing several consultants for a study she is conducting. Commissioned by the Union of Danish Libraries to determine the needs, characteristics, and trends of outsourcing in the information industry, Annie has teamed up with Ulla de Stricker from Toronto to gather data and brainstorm the study. I was interviewed by Annie and Ulla in the exhibitor’s lounge today and look forward to seeing the finished product.
