Blinking trinkets on the exhibit floor

It’s afternoon here in the Nashville exhibit hall, and after a quiet Sunday morning the traffic seems to be picking up. The eye-catching freebies seem to be blinking trinkets; three varieties are available from the Institute of Physics Publishing – who claim to be the original blinkers – Backstage Library Works with the stars, and a blinking button from the American Physical Society. Across from all this is Open Text Corporation with a gumball machine, but the gumballs don’t blink.
